By your admissions, they 'were' fighting for their rights. However it must be noted that all intending terrorist sects or cells must have a claim or a set of beliefs they base their activities on. Besides, that something is your right, actual or percived does not excuse any despicable action of yours. It does not make their actions less of a crime.
A stitch in time is said to save a nine. That is the difference between BH and the boys from the creeks. I have nothing againt GMB hence my letter to GEJ too. And the admonition to caution their supporters applies to both of them as the concluding paragraphs of these letters will readily reveal.
Again, I appreciate your comments and should the opportunity present itself I would love to engage you in a discussion on the finer details of our respective opinions. Thank you.Wolespeakshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07739861286631446581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9174251234274198220.post-80800898527686477662015-01-23T13:18:17.421+01:002015-01-23T13:18:17.421+01:00This comment has been removed by the author.Wolespeakshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07739861286631446581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9174251234274198220.post-11675841822631741272015-01-23T09:09:58.635+01:002015-01-23T09:09:58.635+01:00I think the Boko Haram crisis differs from the Nig...I think the Boko Haram crisis differs from the Niger Delta militancy. The Boko Haram is a case of the more you look, the less you see. Even the government hasn't done enough to quell the problem. Buhari has always condemned the insurgency and was nearly killed last year by those same insurgents. The Niger Delta militants were fighting a just cause (@ least, at the beginning) while Boko Haram wants to islamize a secular country.
Concerning election-related violence Buhari has also condemned it. He signed the peace accord also in Abuja recently. Yet, PDP heats up the polity with inciting statements. When the president's cinvoy was attacked in Katsina, PDP blamed Buhari who was campaigning in Kano, abi shey na Jigawa sef? All through his campaign, Buhari has always discussed issues, while PDP has always attacked him. The Lagos rally by PDP comes to mind here. I remember watching a member of GEJ's on Politics Today last week who spent 95% of the alloted time slandering Buhari. Do they expect Buhari to have the contact of all his supporters? It's GEJ that should caution Fayose, Asari et al.
*****Sorry for the epistle :D*****Hakeemhttp://misterhakeem.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9174251234274198220.post-35121792914847415112015-01-22T19:27:42.168+01:002015-01-22T19:27:42.168+01:00Thanks brother...Thanks brother...Wolespeakshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07739861286631446581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9174251234274198220.post-1625348754582397472015-01-22T19:24:42.066+01:002015-01-22T19:24:42.066+01:00nice one! nice one!
